AUGUST HSPE TEST ADMINISTRATION:

Spring 2013 reading and writing HSPE results were mailed home to all parents/guardians on Monday, June 10th. Students must pass the reading and writing HSPE in order to graduate. If your sophomore or junior student (2012-13) has not passed the reading HSPE and/or the writing HSPE (or was absent for either exam), we strongly recommend that your student register for the August HSPE administration that will be held at CHS. The only other opportunity to take the HSPE exams next school year will be in the spring of 2014.

Students must go to http://www.eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/testregistration  to register (click on “Test Registration” and it should take you to the “HSPE August Registration for Testing”). Students will need their 10-digit State Student Identification number (SSID) in order to register. (Your student’s SSID can be found on their HSPE score report that was mailed home on June 10th — the SSID is listed directly under the student’s name.)

Students must register online by June 30th in order to take the August HSPE exam(s). Students may also register by calling toll-free 1-866-400-9275 (Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm), the phone registration deadline is June 28th. August HSPE testing will be held at Clarkston High School. Once your student is registered, he/she will receive notification regarding exactly where and when to go to test. The August HSPE testing dates are:

August 13, 2013: Writing HSPE/Day 1

August 14, 2013: Writing HSPE/Day 2

August 15, 2013: Reading HSPE
