Clarkston School District (CSD) is seeking community volunteers to join the Clarkston Capital Projects Committee (CPC).
We are inviting interested community members to apply and continue the important work of reviewing and recommending a direction for the upcoming capital projects levy, including future options for Clarkston High School.
The Capital Projects Committee supports the district's commitment to ensuring every dollar spent is thoughtfully prioritized and allocated to achieve the greatest possible benefit for students. This work helps maintain a quality physical environment for student learning while remaining fiscally responsible to our taxpayers.
If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please complete and submit this application by September 11, 2026. The selection committee will review all applications and select new committee members no later than September 18, 2026.
Background and experience that may be helpful include, but are not limited to:
-Effective listening skills and openness to all perspectives
-Ability to collaborate, compromise, and build consensus as part of a team
-Knowledge in areas such as construction, financial planning, or facility management
-Understanding of the importance of aligning work with laws, regulations, and district policies
-Interest in supporting students, staff, and the community
-A growth-oriented mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement
-Committing to the majority of the meeting dates listed on the application (consistency in attendance is especially important)
